Camera Club is one of the oldest clubs on the Campus. It was started by Dr. Owen Minott, who was a student of the then University College of the West Indies (UCWI). He had an avid interest in photography and was more than willing to share has enthusiasm. The was started to teach entrusted persons skills in photography.

This club caters to camera users of all levels. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced amateur\professional, the Camera Club is the place for you. Members are given talks on basic camera skills, black and white photography, shooting, developing the film, and producing the final print. Members are given the opportunity to go out on field trips and working sessions planned by the club to practice the skills they were taught.

Annual exhibitions are held anytime between February and April. This exhibition showcases the work of the members of the club. Members of the club are encouraged to take pictures for presentation in the following categories:

  • Architecture and Engineering
  • Fashion and glamour
  • Figure Study
  • Still life
  • Pictorial
  • Nature
  • Style
  • Theme(of the year of the exhibition)
